How to attract your dream clients

It all starts with defining who they are in the first place.

So many people go into business with the goal of simply surviving, so they sell to everyone. This “catch all” approach seems like a good idea - until you realise that everyone likes your brand… and absolutely no-one loves it. Eeek!

It’s that love, (or in other words: emotional connection) that actually leads customers to trusting you and eventually buying from you. Your brand needs to be someones shot of whisky - not everyones cup of tea.

Learn how to achieve this below.

Introducing: The Dream Client Avatar.

This is basically a fictional person that represents the type of client you want to attract into your biz.

Why is it so important to nail this down as part of the branding process?

Because it gives you a strong steer on many important things. Like:

  • How you can connect with them through your messaging.

Messaging covers everything from your website copy to your social posts. What language, topics and issues do they connect with most?

  • Where they hang out.

There is no point focusing your marketing efforts on Instagram when all the big tech playas are over on LinkedIn, ya know? Knowing where your ideal client hangs out will save you momentous amounts of time.

  • The emotional and practical reasons behind their drive to purchase your service.

When you know these reasons you can tailor your marketing accordingly to appeal to them.

  • Who to say no to

When you know exactly who you work with, it’s easier to say no to anything else that doesn’t align. This give you focus, and focus produces results!

If you need help with the process behind defining who your dream client is, I’m your gal!
